El Solar
…is more than just a space; it’s a celebration of the creativity I carried as a child. It’s where I grew up, playing alongside my sister, a place that shaped me and sparked the thrill of endless possibilities. Every time I stepped into El Solar, I felt that this was exactly where I wanted to be, probably because I knew it was my grandpa’s Solar, and everything about him was protection. In that world, everything was possible, and my imagination and questions about life could roam freely, climbing the cherry, peach, or fig tree, wandering among raspberries and uchuvas, chewing on purple shamrocks, and listening to sounds of a grumpy goose. It was a place to dream, to play, to create, and most importantly, to feel safe while being wholly myself.
This digital garden I’m building mirrors that safe haven. It is a space where creativity blooms, nourished by my interest in eco-conscious futures, responsible AI, and empathy. ‘El Solar’ will be a place to explore, to connect, to imagine new possibilities, carrying the wonder and vitality of that childhood energy into my adult life.
In Colombia, Solar typically refers to a plot of land, building site, or, colloquially in some regions, a backyard or inner courtyard.

“Slow Moments for Fast Lives”
… is a biweekly gathering for women that I host in Barcelona, created for those who want to intentionally slow down. For 1.5 hours, we meet in a softly lit space to paint without pressure, enjoy calm conversations, light candles, and fill the room with gentle scents like lavender. It’s not a class or a workshop, but a calm, intimate creative space to pause, connect, and breathe together in the middle of fast-paced lives.

AI, internet, and social media lack real regulation, we are living in a time where overexposure to all things, good and bad is fed to our minds from the moment we wake up until we go to bed…

On Intelligence
There isn´t a unified definition of intelligence because it is shaped by context, culture, and experiences. Animals, plants, the planet and humans are intelligent. Are we intelligent because we need to survive or could we be intelligent in other circumstances?
Objects are not intelligent, we attribute them the title of intelligence but our cellphones turn off or break and all of the sudden are not “intelligent” anymore, or is your cellphone trying to “survive” being turned off or broken? nope! To be continued…
