I’m Mela. I’m transitioning into product and project management after 12 years working in tech, including 6 years focused on UX research, design, and strategy.

I started my career in visual design in Colombia, then moved to the United States, where I worked with tech companies across the full product lifecycle. I’ve collaborated in agile teams, helping turn research and ideas into digital experiences that make sense to people and work well in real life.

I recently completed a Master’s in Responsible AI at Elisava in Barcelona, where I focused on ethical tech, governance, and user-centered innovation. Now, I’m excited to apply this experience to roles that bring clarity, coordination, and care to building responsible technology.

Outside of work, I enjoy being in nature, painting, spending time with friends and my cat Teh-Teh, and learning about wellness and sustainability.
